Packlist

We will provide you with: a warm sleeping bag, Sleeping mat, thermos flask, warm jacket and trousers. Warm winter boots, warm hat, warm mittens, Headlamp for driving dogs in darkness.

You need to bring: 

For the summer/autumn tour:
  • Back pack
  • Underwear.
  • Under shirts of wool or polyester (ski-shirts)
  • 1 pair of thin underpants with long legs (ski-underpants)
  • 1 pair of thick underpants with long legs (wool or fleece)
  • 2-3 shirts or thin sweaters
  • 1 thick jumper
  • 1 even thicker jumper (wool or fleece)
  • 1 pair of trousers
  • 2 pair of thin wool socks
  • 2 pair of thick wool socks
  • Water resistant windbreaker pants, eg goretex. 
  • Water resistant windbreaker jacket with hood, eg goretex.
  • Water resistant hiking shoes.
  • 1 thin hat
  • 1 thicker hat
  • 1 pair of finger gloves, to use when you work with the dogs.
  • 1 pair of finger gloves, for eating lunch.
  • Bug spray, mosquitos are prevalent during the summer months.
  • Hygiene products, toothbrush, toothpaste, some ibuprofen tablets.
  • Small towel, (fast drying sports towel)
  • Hand sanitizer or hygienic wipes.
  • Sharp pocket knife or multitool.
  • Sunglasses and sun protection
  • 1 pair of jogging shoes to use in the cabin.
  • Head lamp.
  • Camera with extra batteries.
  • An extra pair of glasses for those who use them.
